I founded
One Minute Information in year 2011.
One Minute Information is basically a blog on Google Blogger. I heavily customize
the look and feel with CSS and Javascript to make the blog look the way it is now. I even SEO optimize the blog so that it may rank higher on search engines.
Popular articles include
Creating an Easy Origami Swan,
Introduction on Japanese Embroidery - Bunka Shishu,
Solving the Rubik's Cube,
Solving Issues with Android Programming,
Solving Issues with Eclipse IDE!
Below is a list of things I've done to
One Minute Information!
- CSS: CSS, short for Cascading Style Sheets, is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation elements including
the formatting and the look and feel of an HTML document. This blog mainly uses CSS 2.1, and uses some of the CSS 3 features like the round corner border!
- Javascript: I use Javascript to load Facebook API for the Facebook comment plugin. I also use lots of jQuery to do dynamic styling injection.
- jQuery: I use jQuery to do dynamic styling injection. For example I make it so that every external link is opened in a new window.
Granted you can do the same thing by manually adding 'target='_blank'' but jQuery makes things so much easier by allowing you to use only a couple of lines of code to achieve the same goal!
- Nginx: I use Nginx as a file server for the CSS file, Javascript file, and images posted on One Minute Information.
- SVN: I use SVN to do source control for all the files posted on One Minute Information.
- Facebook Plugins: As you can see I use FB Like plugin, FB Share plugin, and FB comment plugin on One Minute Information.
